The Museum of Space History in Alamogordo is excited to host the Astronomy League for winter star gazing of the southern New Mexico sky. Discover the fascinating stories of the Orion constellation and learn what different cultures saw in this celestial formation, including Messier 42, Orion’s Nebula.
The event will be held at the New Mexico Museum of Space History’s outdoor observatory area, rain or shine. If weather conditions or visibility are poor, the event will be moved indoors to the Tombaugh Dome and Planetarium.
